ZEKS Alternate Cooling Source Dryers enable those with an on-site supply of ammonia or chilled water or water/glycol to use that cooling energy for compressed air drying. These dryers have no refrigeration system and require no electricity.

ZEKS CDAW Alternate Cooling Source Dryers use chilled water or a water/glycol mixture as the cooling energy source for compressed air drying. ZEKS CDAN models are designed to use ammonia. The customer-supplied cooling media is connected to the dryer's chiller exchanger, cooling the compressed air and condensing out moisture, thereby drying the compressed air. Condensate is removed from the dryer via a pneumatic no air-loss drain.
